Chamber Committees
We welcome the participation of our members in all chamber programs and we invite our members to get involved by volunteering for a committee. If you are interested in participating in any of the committees listed, please call the chamber office at 631-261-3573.
Beutification
Identify and initiate community beautification programs including Banners, Business Signs, Garbage Receptacles, Historical Signs, Planters and Lamp Post Project.
Budget/Finance
Responsible for financial records and all accounting functions of the Chamber.
By-Laws
Review Chamber By-Laws and make appropriate recommendations for change.
Capital Funding
Identify and initiate Federal, State, County and Town Grant monies for Chamber related programs.
Community and Public Relations
Develop programs which benefit the East Northport community and which promote the Chamber membership; such as Food Drive, Public Safety, Candidates Night, East Northport Edge, Website.
Fundraising
Develop programs and events to financially strengthen the Chamber including our annual Festival, Golf Outing and Wine Tasting Event.
Governmantal Relations
Liaison with government officials with respect to regulations or government plans that may effect local business or economic development.
Networking
Coordination of networking activities among Chamber members.
Nominating
Recruit and recommend members for Board positions.
